According to the Bible, God did not create a world with suffering. Genesis 1 tells us that when God created everything, it was very good. Even animals didn't hurt each other, neither was there pain. We see how sin, pain, and suffering came about through the deception of Lucifer. Lucifer was a perfect being in the beginning, but he tried to exalt himself above God--he wanted to be like the Most High. As a result he was sent out of heaven. When Jesus was on earth He showed us a picture of the Father. He loved sinners, all people. This is the love the Father has for us: "For God so loved the world that he gave us His only begotten Son." The question is, who will we follow: God who is full of love and gives us freedom of choice, or Lucifer? The truth is God will not allow pain to go on for eternity. He shall bring it to an end.
